    I actively gather opinions, concerns, and suggestions from residents through multiple channels. This includes public meetings, surveys, direct communication, and community engagement events like our bi-monthly Ward 5 Community Pot Luck and the "Ward 5 Is Alive" consultation email list. By recording and analyzing every piece of feedback, I ensure that your voices are promptly heard and that recurring trends or issues are identified for swift action.

  • Official Reports, Documents, and Legislation:
    To fully understand my duties, responsibilities, and powers, I rigorously review a variety of official sources. These include city planning documents, bylaws, policies, and meeting minutes, as well as key provincial legislation such as The Planning Act and Municipal Governance Act. This comprehensive review allows me to ground every decision in the legal and regulatory frameworks that guide our city’s governance.

  • Expert Consultations and Evidence-Based Data:
    I consult with urban planners, local experts, and other subject matter specialists to tap into their expertise on issues ranging from infrastructure to economic development and environmental impact. Leveraging this evidence-based data ensures that my decisions are fair, balanced, and adaptable, reflecting both immediate concerns and long-term community goals.
